Objectives
- Develop design and information architecture skills.
- Understand a team-based and iterative approach to Web development.
- Create image-based multimedia content and understand the use of
other multimedia content (sound, animation, video) in Web design.
- Develop a working knowledge of image correction, collage, compositing,
and exporting for the Web using Photoshop.
- Create interactive animations suitable for Web distribution using
Flash.
- Be capable of authoring transitional standards-compliant Web sites
using Dreamweaver and CSS.
- Come to a new understanding of the complexity
and ethical implications of food systems and how they are imaged/imagined
in our culture.
