Evaluation

There are 100 total points to be earned in the semester. The final grading scale is based on a 10-point increment scale (A=90, B=80, etc.). I do give out fractional points in grading individual assignments.  At the end of the semester, points will be totaled and will be rounded up or down according to a holistic evaluation of your contributions to the class.  Point scores will be supplemented by extensive comments on all projects and weekly responses.

Project 2: 20
Project 1: 10
Participation: 15
Wiki contributions: 12
Paper and presentation: 10
End of semester reflection: 3

 

Extra Credit

Limited opportunities for extra credit will be offered for both attending and writing a response to select campus events. Check back for details.
